“Lakes are for Everyone”
We’re just a couple of months away from our 2019 conference – you won’t want to miss enjoying beautiful Lake Chelan in the fall at Campbell’s Resort! This location has been a hit for our conferences in the past and we are excited to return this year for what is sure to be an enjoyable and informative annual meeting. Please join us from October 30th through November 1st for a program full of sessions, workshops, and socializing with fellow lake lovers.
Workshops on Wednesday afternoon, October 30, will focus on aquatic invasive animals and plants, and advanced techniques for collecting limnological measurements and samples. Workshops are offered for $10 each, and you can sign up for either or both when you complete your conference registration. In addition to our classic array of talks on lake science and management, we are very excited to present a plenary panel of inspiring women who have contributed to the field of limnology. You will recognize some familiar faces as they discuss their experiences in helping pave the way for future scientists and lake managers. As always, we will host our annual auction and raffle to support WALPA scholarships.

- Various sponsorship levels are available for organizations interested in attending the conference, promoting their work, and supporting Pacific Northwest lake associations. - Special accommodation rates are available for conference attendees at Campbell’s Resort. The special rate will be available only until the room block is sold out, so book a room now by calling (800) 553-8225. Be sure to refer to group reservation number 545803 to secure the government rate.
