Jump on it! This year’s WALPA Conference is held jointly with the OLA (Oregon Lakes Association) at the University Place and Conference center in Portland, OR and includes a river cruise! Register TODAY! Options abound.

Early bird registration rate of $200 for the full conference, or $125 for one day, is available through September 10, 2024. Student registration (with a valid college or university email address) is available for the full conference for just $35.

One-day registration includes attendance at a full day of sessions and a buffet lunch on either Wednesday or Thursday (choice to be made at registration), and participation in Friday morning learning workshops.

Full registration includes attendance at both days of sessions — Wednesday and Thursday, buffet lunches both days, the Wednesday evening social hour and raffle (which benefits our student scholarship program), and participation in Friday morning learning workshops.

  • River Cruise: This is a ticketed event and will include a buffet dinner and a cash bar. Conference attendees can buy their ticket for $70.00 through the registration portal. Hotel and parking
The conference hotel room block at University Place Hotel is available Tuesday, October 8, through the morning of Friday, October 11, 2024. To book your hotel room at the OLA-WALPA group rate, call 1-866-845-4647 (choose menu option 1). The group rate is NOT available by booking through their website. Mention Oregon Lakes Association or Washington State Lake Protection Association and book by September 10th to receive the group rate of $100 + taxes/fees. Hotel room reservation includes full breakfasts and on-site parking. For conference attendees without a hotel registration, on-site parking is $13 per day via the Parking Kitty kiosk or app.
