WALPA is able to pursue our mission because of the generosity and support of our sponsors and members! We value all contributions and provide a number of benefits to becoming a WALPA sponsor. Sponsorship is active for the calendar year it is received.

WALPA has a distribution list of 1200 subscribers. Our annual conference is attended by 80-100 citizens, scientists and students. Average conference attendee breakdown by sector is: government (local and state) – 35%; private sector – 27%; academic – 22%; non-profit/lake association – 16%.

Dedicated standard 6’ folding table, conference room WiFi, and power outlets. WALPA makes every effort to ensure that exhibitors are positioned in the main meeting room to allow for concentrated time with attendees.

Conference Exhibitor Booth

Includes the attendance of an employee or the option to donate the registration to a student.

Conference Registration

Acknowledgment throughout the conference during plenary sessions, announcements and business meeting. Acknowledgements include logo on the main presentation screen and verbal acknowledgement.

Annual Meeting Sponsorship

Visible acknowledgement of the sponsor during the online workshop and acknowledgment of sponsorship in Constant Contact alerts for workshop registration.

Advertise with WALPA

Annual WALPA sponsorships at the Gold and Silver level include the benefit of advertising in our publications: The Ripple and Waterline. We accept advertising from companies that provide lake-related services or sell products. We accept ads for environmentally-friendly products or services.

GOLD SPONSORSHIP

Includes your logo in a banner for Waterline, acknowledgment of your company’s sponsorship in the Ripple and an invitation to write a featured article in Waterline.

SILVER SPONSORSHIP

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Includes your logo in a column placement for Waterline and acknowledgment of your company’s sponsorship in the Ripple.

The Waterline is posted, ads intact, in electronic format on the WALPA web site (https://www.walpa.org/waterline/) and is available in printable format and archived. A Column Placement ad is a right-hand column ad that is 210px wide by no taller than 500px and reoccurs throughout the entire Waterline edition. An Article Banner is an article ad that is 430px wide by no taller than 100px and is only available in one specific article. Ads include a live link to your website. WALPA requires web-ready artwork in color (no additional charge) or black and white. If ads require additional artwork, design, or significant manipulation by the newsletter designer, the additional design time will be billed to the advertiser at the designer’s hourly rate. We prefer jpg or gif files at 72 dpi, but can also accept In-Design, AI, PSD, tiff, pdf, and eps formats. Email ads to info@walpa.org. If the ad file is large, please contact us for a link to upload your files.
