Lauren Kemper

Lauren is an Aquatic Ecologist with over nine years of experience working in riverine, riparian, and forested ecosystems across the Pacific Northwest and Interior West. Her work focuses on stream health, fish ecology, riparian restoration, and applied ecosystem science. She works on projects ranging from juvenile salmonid monitoring, fish stranding, and trapping analyses to riparian revegetation and long-term habitat and temperature monitoring. Lauren holds an M.S. from Northern Arizona University, where she studied post-wildfire forest regeneration in interior Alaska, and a B.S. in Environmental Science and GIS from the University of Maryland. She enjoys combining fieldwork, spatial analysis, and data-driven science to support practical environmental management and restoration decisions.
