WALPA Is Hiring - Technical Editor and Graphic Designer Needed

WALPA is looking for a skilled freelance Technical Editor and Graphic Designer to help with their quarterly newsletters and outreach efforts. This role offers about 20 to 25 hours of work per quarter, making it a great opportunity for professionals seeking flexible, project-based work. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong editing skills, and graphic design experience, this could be the perfect fit.

Technical Editor and Graphic Designer

 

Join our team as we continue to provide educational resources and information about lake and watershed management, and foster communication and coordination among lake and watershed stakeholders.

 

Key responsibilities:

·        Formatting quarterly newsletters for website

·        Grammatical editing + copy editing

·        Management of article submission

·        Communicating with sponsors to obtain content

 

Experience with the following are desired:

·        Create and enhance graphics for social media, website and print

·        Website management

·        WIX, Zeffy, Constant Contact


Commitment: ~20-25 hours/quarter expected. Expect more leading up to our annual conference in October.
