Frank Wilhelm

Frank Wilhelm is a professor of Limnology and the current Department Head of Fish and Wildlife Sciences at the University of Idaho. He teaches the senior’s/grad course in limnology and the first year Introduction to the Fish and Wildlife Professions course in the department. His current research interests include: nutrient loading from lake sediments, the resuspension of sediment and nutrients in the nearshore from boat wakes, and the occurrence of harmful algal blooms. One of his current research projects aims to track daily oxygen cycles in a shallow bay of a north Idaho lake to track daily patterns of nutrient loading from the sediments.
