Donate to help WALPA advance lake protection!

WALPA-color-logoAs a valued member of the Washington State Lake Protection Association, you already help support WALPA’s mission. Please consider an additional donation to WALPA this year to bolster programs for lake and watershed protection, restoration and management. Your commitment will help WALPA provide educational resources and information about lake and watershed management and foster communication and coordination among lake and watershed stakeholders.

Since 1986, WALPA has provided entities with diverse interests the chance to speak with one voice to protect lakes. To be inclusive, we offer low membership dues, which by themselves do not cover the cost of WALPA’s programs. Your contribution will help make possible:

  • Student scholarships, which prepare the next generation of local lake leaders.
  • Waterline, our quarterly publication full of the most current local lake news.
  • Our annual conference, the Northwest’s premier forum for communicating about lake management.
  • Legislative advocacy, which allows us to represent lake interests in Olympia. Recently we were pleased to help pass a ban on the sale of phosphorus-containing lawn fertilizers in Washington.

Since WALPA is run by a voluntary board, 100% of your contribution will support WALPA’s mission of protecting Washington’s lakes. Your donation is also tax-deductible as WALPA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Giving has never been easier — donate online today at www.walpa.org/join-donate/

Thank you in advance for your support!
