WATERLINE - March, 2011

NALMS comes to the Northwest this fall!

Save the date and spread the word! The 31st International Symposium of the North American Lake Management Society (NALMS) is coming to Spokane for the first time ever in 2011. It’s also the first time in nearly 20 years that NALMS has come to the Northwest at all, so we need strong local and regional sponsorship and attendance – from you! The Symposium, with a theme of Diverse and Sustainable Lake Management, will take place at the Spokane Convention Center on October 24 – 28, 2011.

If you have not received a copy of the official call for papers, just released, or have questions about the upcoming conference, contact Symposium Chair BiJay Adams at bijay@libertylake.org or (509) 922-5443, X230. Additional contacts are listed below. Note that conference abstracts are due to NALMS by May 13; sponsorship payment and promotional materials are due August 1. Presenters of accepted abstracts must register and pay by August 26. Start planning now to attend the Symposium in Spokane this fall! September 22 is the last day the conference hotel rate is available.
